What is Your Hard?


I get a lot of people telling me that they wish they could lose weight. But it’s too hard and that they don’t have any motivation or dedication‼️

Well I’m going to let you in on a little secret. It’s only as hard as you make it. We have doubts and fears. We have tried many diets, fad diets, and failed.
I know because I am one of those people. 👩‍👧‍👧

The only time I ever lost a lot of weight quickly was when I was having Gall Bladder attacks and I couldn’t eat much at all. Which is NOT a healthy way to go. Because I didn’t learn what my body thrives on to show me that it’s doing the best dam job it can. I went from a size 22 to a 13 during that time. But when I had my Gall Bladder removed surprise surprise I gained it all back and then some. 👎

I even told myself over and over again, this was the way it was going to be. I was always going to be overweight. I tried to convince myself I was happy. I would even make jokes of myself, and how fat I was. I thought if I made jokes then people wouldn’t feel sorry for me, because I couldn’t fit in a chair or sit crossed legged. 😩

But I started to find that when I walked for any distance, I would really start to hurt, it was painful and uncomfortable. Then I would get so short of breath. So I gave that up too. What got to me was this one time I went to put on my seatbelt in the car and it was winter, and the seatbelt couldn’t reach over to buckle because of the coat. SO I would have to wear something lighter. In the cold, not a proud moment in my life.

So I ask you this? Is getting a second chance at living the best life really that hard? Is being able to walk up more than 5 steps without feeling like your going to die Hard? Or that you can walk up those flight of stairs with No effort.
Is going to the Doctor and him / her telling you that your cholesterol is too high, your blood pressure is too high, Or that your PRE- Diabetic.
Is that Hard? 💪😩

Sometimes we have to choose our hard, The difference between these hards is very simple.
The first hard of eating healthy and getting a little active is a challenge, for sure , your changing that path that you’ve made in the sand. But I promise you it gets easier, and before you know it, you can do 10 steps, then 15 and your energy will sky rocket. 💥🚀💗⚡️

But the other Hard will only get HARDER not easier. It’ll get more difficult to walk up those 5 stairs, or get in the car, or chair. SO I ask you to choose your hard. We as people don’t like change, it’s scares us. Comfort Zones don’t help us they hinder us. 😢

I choose you and your second Chance. It’s not fast, it’s not easy( it’s learning and a challenge but it’s a good challenge. Aren’t you worth that? 💕
